During Citizenship Week, we focused on building bridges between people by celebrating our differences and showing tolerance and understanding towards those who are different to us.
The children took part in a Danceathon to raise money for CAFOD (The Catholic Agency for Overseas Development). This is charity that stands beside people livingin poverty – whatever their religion or culture.
The event was a huge success and children had a fantastic time. We raised the huge the sum of £3,174.00 andpresented the cheque to a CAFOD representative who attended our assembly.
