Y6 visit to Kew Gardens

On 22nd May, pupils in year 6 attended Kew Gardens, which is a botanic garden in southwest London that houses the “largest and most diverse botanical and mycological collections in the world”.

They had an opportunity to learn about the world of science behind these botanical collections. These collections date back to the early 18th century, and is a royal palace to today’s globally renowned scientific institution for plant and fungal research.
